Station Life

On a daily basis, Huntsville Fire & Rescue staffs and coordinates 21 engine companies, 7 ladder trucks, 1 heavy rescue truck, along with a Special Operations Division, which includes hazardous materials, technical rescue, and several specialized support units. Fire & Rescue also has investigations, emergency response dispatch, logistics, and training divisions, all of which are diverse, innovative and efficient.

The City of Huntsville Fire Department Maintains a Class 1 ISO Rating as graded by the Insurance Services Office.
