CPAT
Applicants must pass the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) to continue in the hiring process. Applicants who achieve the minimum score of 70 on their written test are eligible to take the CPAT and must self-schedule an appointment following the instructions provided on the job announcement. The first attempt is a practice session, but if the applicant passes, they will not be required to retake the CPAT during this application period. A second attempt to pass CPAT will be scheduled approximately two weeks after the first attempt for those who do not pass. This is also a practice session but, if the applicant passes, they will not be required to retake the CPAT during this application period.
Applicants who do not pass the second attempt will be scheduled for a third and final CPAT two weeks after the second attempt. Those who pass will be considered for an oral interview. Applicants who do not pass the CPAT on the third attempt will be eliminated from the hiring process. Applicants who fail to self-schedule, arrive late, or miss the CPAT examination will automatically be eliminated from the hiring process.
